For owners of established B&Bs, independent hotels and self-catering businesses.
From the outside, your business looks successful. Inside, it feels relentless.
Bookings are harder than they used to be. OTAs take a bigger bite every year. And despite everything you pour into the business, the pressure never fully eases.
It doesn't have to stay this way.
When the business side starts working differently, everything changes. Including you.
The diary stops controlling you. You stop dropping prices to fill quiet weeks. You stop watching the OTA commission climb and feeling there's nothing you can do about it.
You start attracting guests who stay longer, pay properly, and genuinely value what you've built. Your pricing finally reflects the experience you offer.
And slowly, the business stops consuming your whole life.
You get breathing room. Time back. Space to think again.
Not because you're working harder.
Because the business behind the hospitality has finally been built on purpose - not left to happen.
Hi, I'm Stephanie.
I didn't come to this work through a business degree or a marketing background. I came to it the same way you did - running a hospitality business and trying to make the numbers work without burning out.
Over twenty years ago, my husband and I bought a dilapidated Victorian villa by the sea - a business that wasn't trading and was in a sorry state.
We thought it would be simple.
It wasn't.

We gave everything we had to turning it into somewhere special - only to find that was the easy part. Making the business work financially was something else entirely. The dream we'd chased quickly became exhausting. And we were barely staying afloat.
Then the 2008 recession hit. Bookings stopped. For a while, I thought we'd lose everything.
But that period forced me to see what I'd missed. We'd spent all our time focused on guests - but very little time thinking about how the business itself actually needed to work.
So I rebuilt it differently.
Not by chasing more bookings - but by stepping back and redesigning how the whole thing worked. It became award-winning. Profitable. And eventually, we sold it at a premium price.
That was the beginning of this work.
What I learnt through rebuilding that business became the foundation of The Thrive Method™ - a way of helping owners redesign their businesses so they work financially, practically and personally.
For the past 16 years, I've worked full-time with hospitality business owners around the world through every kind of season and market - booming, struggling, recovering, changing.
Today, I work with owners of established B&Bs, independent hotels and self-catering businesses, helping them build a business that's profitable, calm and genuinely enjoyable to run.
I'm a mentor, not a consultant. I don't hand you a strategy and walk away.
I help you turn what you've built into a business that supports your life.
Real change, in their words
The biggest change isn't just the numbers - it's how much easier everything feels. We're attracting guests who stay longer, spend more and genuinely value what we offer. The business finally works for our guests, our team and our bottom line.

When the accountant queried why our OTA commission fees were so much lower, we could proudly say it was because most of our bookings were now coming direct. We've enjoyed building the business so much that we've since bought a second one.

How this works
There are two ways to start working with me.
The Profitably Booked Workshop is the open door. A free hour-long workshop where I walk through the three shifts that take a business from consuming your life to supporting it. It runs live every month.
The Thrive Method™ is the work itself - my complete framework, as a self-study course you move through in your own time. Doors open again in September; join the waitlist to be the first to know.
And for some owners, there's Amplify - a small group of fifteen business owners I work with at a high level, helping them fast-track their success. By application.
